5th Class, 18th May 2020

Hello to all of the girls in 5th class,

We hope that you are all keeping well and safe. Thank you to all those who emailed us this week and sent us work to be corrected or had questions that they didn’t understand. We are always happy to help.

We gave a recommended reading list last week. Please let us know if you read any of the books and whether you liked the book or not. Better still send us a book review and we will put it on the website.

If there is any work you would like us to put on the website please email it to us. We each put up two pieces every week. You are all doing fantastic work so it is lovely to show it off.

You will be glad to know this is the last week of ‘time’ in maths. We will be moving onto a new topic next week. If there is anything you are still unsure of with ‘time’ please email us and we will do our best to help.

This week children will be completing the Stay Safe programme. Ms Daly has sent on links and information to parents/guardians and it is really important that you do these lessons together. This programme will be revised in 6th class but it is important that parents discuss and supervise these lessons with children as there are some sensitive issues that may arise.

We hope that you are all getting out and getting plenty of fresh air. We also hope you are still being well-behaved for your parents and helping out where you can.

That’s all for this week girls. We miss being in school and we miss teaching you all.

All the best,

Ms. Mahon & Ms. Field.
