This poem was dropped into the office but with no name – even so I think it’s worth publishing.
SPORTS DAY
Sports Day was really fun
Doing sports with everyone
I really liked the Sack Race
You wouldn’t believe it but I came in 2nd place
The Running Race was really good
I had to run as fast as I could
The Egg and Spoon Race was not so easy
After lunch I felt quite queasy
The Obstacle Course was not too bad
But when I finished I was glad
After lunch we got to play
This was the BEST SPORTS DAY
