MEÁN FOMHAIR 2011

Dear Parents and Guardians

WELCOME BACK! What excitement on September 1st as we all returned to our lovely new building. What wonderful learning experiences we will have in this bright and cheery environment. Lovely comments too from parents on how great it was that we held onto the old building – although it is hardly recognisable.

SPECIAL WELCOME to all our new Infants who have settled in so quickly – welcome and thanks to all their parents who have cooperated so willingly with school procedures. This week our Infants will line up in the yard for 9 oclock and teachers will collect them there to bring to classrooms. Collection in the evening will be from school door at end of the corridor at 1.40pm – Please be on time! It can be an anxious time for little people if all your friends are collected and no one has come for you. Please inform Ms Byrne or Ms Soden if there someone else is collecting your child.

Fáilte also to the many new girls who joined us in other classes: Sarah, Emma, Kiara and Liana in Senior Infants; Megan in 1st; Toyofi and Deborah in 2nd; Lilibeth and Zuzanna in 4th; Megan in 5th and Ciara in 6th.

We also have a new staff member – Ms McCarthy is the new teacher in Senior Infants – Welcome! Best wishes to Ms Gordon who has gone back to Mayo! Congratulations to Ms Quinn – a baby boy.
