Excitement building ahead of our Marathon

Over the last seven weeks, the girls and boys from third class upwards have been training very hard for our ‘Marathon’. The idea is that each child runs 42.2km (26.2 miles) over the 8 weeks leading up to the midterm break. They will run their final mile this Thursday ahead of the Dublin City Marathon. This also coincides with the official opening of our running track and our new pitch. On Friday, Martin Brady came in and each child was given the opportunity to create their own t-shirt with a logo designed by Ruth Campion. The children will run in these t-shirts on the day of the Marathon. A big thank you to Ruth for designing the logo and to Martin for giving up his time on Friday.
