Charity begins at home

Ms Quinn’s 2nd class studied all about homes this term in SESE. When they heard that the parish was going to collect for the homeless they thought it would be a good idea to help Liz and organise a “Shoebox Collection for the Homeless” in Scoil Choca. Notes were distributed to all classes to give them some idea of what might be useful. As  is usual here in Scoil Choca, there was a very generous response. Here are some pictures of the girls delivering the boxes to the Parish shop. Liz will see that they are distributed to homeless people in Dublin, giving them some cheers for the Christmas season. Well done 2nd class! I believe they will be making a second delivery to Liz soon.
