The Primary School Curriculum was developed by the NCCA and launched in 1999. It is presented in six areas which comprise of 11. As we are a Catholic school, Religios Education is also a subject. Curriculum documents and teacher guidelines are provided for each curriculum subject and the Curriculum books and Teacher Guidelines can be viewed on http://ncca.ie
The curriculum aims to ensure that all children are provided with learning opportunities to celebrate their uniqueness, develop their potential and prepare them to meet the challenges of life. IT is an important resource in Scoil Choca Naofa.
