Senior Infants entered a class book they made for Kildare Education Centre’s “1916 Decade of Commemorations’ History Project. The book entitled “SCHOOL LIFE IN 1916” won 1st prize in the junior category. Dominic McEvoy, director of the Education Centre presented an individual certificate to each young writer as well as a certificate and beautiful trophy to the school.
The girls did a tour of the school on Monday to tell the classes what their book was about. They were especially excited to visit UPSTAIRS.
